The Administrative Committee of Emergency Medical Center
(First Aid Station) Branch of Chinese Hospital Association
serves as the responsible body of the Branch. When the
Emergency Center Branch is not in session, the Standing
Committee of Emergency Center will be in charge of its
routine operation. The Branch has the following sections:

Since the Emergency Medical Center (First Aid Station)
Branch was founded, 53 organizational members (units)
and ? individual members have joined the Branch in 8 months.
A joint effort of the emergency centers (stations) nationwide,
and the Emergency Medical Center (First Aid Station) Branch
Committee is the establishment of China Emergency Medical
Service System (EMSS) network. Guided by the Medical Department
of Ministry of Health, EMSS has established management
regulations, case-study reporting standards, and technical
rules for diagnosis and treatment in pre-hospital care.
It is also in the process of preparing its own professional
publications.
Supported by administrators of all levels, experts
and various factions of the society, Emergency Medical
Center (First Aid Station) Branch strives to build a grass-root
based professional organization which will be trusted
by both national and local governments, welcomed by emergency
centers (stations), and supported by civilians. It will
help enhance the communication between government agencies
and emergency medical professionals, and help manage emergency
medical centers (stations) of the country.
